Title: The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea (2000)
Country of VHS release: South Korea
Audio: English
Subs: Korean
Format: NTSC
Ex-rental: no, this is a retail version but with a sticker on the case (so under the seal) that says ‘[for] gift use’, which could mean two things: its promoted to stimulate people and buy it as a gift, or it’s used as a giveaway, by example if you buy another product (a VCR or so).
Condition case: new in factory seal, factory seal has the Buena Vista branding watermarks on it. The seal is in good shape with some minor shelfwear, after taking pics I wrapped it up plastic for further protection of the original seal.
Condition inlay: all in tact and no sun fade.
Disclaimer on VHS tapes: All video tapes offered are treated as collectibles, with love and care. Cases and cassettes are cleaned before listing them, sometimes the insides of the cassette are also carefully cleaned if necessary. All to offer a mold free, shiny collection of highly collectible Korean video tapes. That having said, most of these tapes are retired rentals and have had an active life in the past. I promised to deliver a clean, well playable tape as described above, but image and sound quality won’t always be as crisp as it was at the time when the tape was released, and I can’t guarantee it will run smoothly until the end of times. Tapes generally come in the cases branded by the label. In general tapes from the VHS heydays are of better quality than the very late releases – in Korea video tapes were released until about 2010, but as the focus shifted to dvd many (not all) labels used cheaper quality cassettes so that’s something to keep in mind if this is an important aspect for you.
