The video cd aka vcd was relatively popular in South Korea. As a computer minded country, movies were released from the early days of the medium to the very final ones. Although we offer these first and foremost as collectible items to compliment your movie collection, you should be able to play these in vcd compatible players, old pc configurations (usually the movies are played via accompanying applications), or you can look up the video files on the disc, usually these are low-resolution files with hard coded Korean subtitles. These are official releases and were retailed in the stores. Like VHS, movies usually come with the original audio and Korean subtitles, while movies for children often have dubbed versions as well.
