Painted Cinema Billboards Korea Book New [Propaganda Cinema Graphics]

It’s pretty much crazy to image in this day and age, but back in the day it was totally normal that there were painters who (re)created the movie art on enormous billboards that were decorating the entrances of the cinemas. And all that craft got lost once the movie finished running. Luckily at least the pictures remain, and are collected in this enormous book Painted Cinema Billboards. In about 1000 photos you will get an impression of what Korean cinemas looked like from as early as the 40s to up to the late 2000s.
